What shipping options are available?
We offer a variety of shipping options from Japan Post, FedEx, and DHL. All methods include a tracking number.
EMS (Express Mail Service)
Average Delivery Time | 3-7 days (Depending on your country, COVID-19 delays may be in effect!) |
Insurance | Free up to 20,000 yen, more available for an additional fee during shipping checkout. Insurance is required for packages valued at 100,000 yen or more. For more details and costs, please see here. |
Handling Fee | For packages exceeding 200,000 yen in value, we will charge an additional 2800 yen handling fee. Additionally, if multiple packages shipped to the same address on the same day exceed a total value of 200,000 JPY, this fee will also apply, as per the regulations of Japan Post. |

Benefits | Safe and fast, EMS is often the best choice for ensuring your items arrive quickly. This method gets priority over other Japan Post methods. |

FedEx International Priority
Average Delivery Time | 2-5 days (Depending on your country, COVID-19 delays may be in effect!) |
Insurance | Insurance is required for packages valued at 100,000 yen or more. The insurance cost can be confirmed at the final shipping checkout. Packages including items such as precious metals and jewelry will be insured only up to $1,000. Further information about declared value can be found here. |

Benefits | Safe and fast, FedEx can be an excellent option for shipping heavy, small items such as books. FedEx Priority will arrive faster than Economy. |

Small Packet Airmail
Average Delivery Time | 10-14 days (Depending on your country, COVID-19 delays may be in effect!) |
Insurance | Free, but only available up to 6000 yen. We recommend you change the shipping method if the total declared value is over 6,000 JPY. |
Handling Fee | For packages exceeding 200,000 yen in value, we will charge an additional 2800 yen handling fee (required by Japan Post) |
Tracking | Included, but one of the drawbacks of this method is that they don't update their status once the package leaves Japan. |
Benefits | Especially good for light items, this is a very economical method that still arrives relatively quickly. |

Parcel Post Airmail
Average Delivery Time | 9-14 days (Depending on your country, COVID-19 delays may be in effect!) |
Insurance | Fee for a package less than 20,000 yen = 400 yen. 50 yen will be added for every additional 20,000 yen in declared value. Example: 20,001-40,000 yen = 450 yen, 40,001-60,000 yen = 500 yen, and so on. |
Handling Fee | For packages exceeding 200,000 yen in value, we will charge an additional 2800 yen handling fee (required by Japan Post) |

Benefits | A good option for countries that may not support EMS but still need to ship large/heavy items. |

Parcel Post Seamail (Surface Mail)
