Shipping Restrictions for DHL and FedEx

In addition to our general Prohibited Items List, couriers such as DHL and FedEx each have their own additional restrictions. These vary by carrier; an item restricted by one courier may still be shippable via another.

FedEx Restrictions

Shoes (United States)

Including sneakers, boots, sandals, and all other footwear.

Beverages

Including soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, etc.

Food

Including any edible product.

Liquid items

Including cooking oils, cosmetics, cleaning liquids, soaps, etc.

Lens (that may include prescriptions) (United States)

Including sunglasses, eyeglasses, and microscopes. (These are banned even with no prescription.) Does not affect the camera lens.

Clocks and Watches (United States)

Including wristwatches, pocket watches, wall clocks, table clocks, etc.

DVD/Bluray/VHS (United States)

Including all video-related media.

Car/Bike Engine Parts

Including all internal parts of car and bike engines (screws, small caps, etc are acceptable).

DHL Restrictions

Food (containing Meat)

Includes any item that contains meat including instant ramen/noodles with powdered meat. Snacks are OK.

Liquid items

Including cooking oils, inks, cleaning liquids, etc. Beverages are allowed. Cosmetics without ethanol are allowed.

Car/Bike Engine Parts

Including all internal parts of car and bike engines (screws, small caps, etc are acceptable).
