How does purchasing from Rakuma work when seller approval is required?

Some Rakuma listings require the seller to approve the purchase request before we can buy the item. If the seller doesn’t approve within 48 hours, the request expires and your order is cancelled.
How does seller approval work?
You submit your order for the Rakuma item.
We send a purchase request to the seller on your behalf.
Your order waits for the seller to approve the request.
Rakuma is currently the only marketplace we use that works this way.
What happens if the seller doesn’t approve the request?
If the seller doesn’t approve within 48 hours, for example because they are inactive or haven’t seen the request, the request expires and your order is cancelled.
We return the funds to your Japan Rabbit Wallet and update you with the reason for the cancellation: What happens if you can’t buy my item?
