Am I able to participate in lotteries through your service?

Edited

Yes, we can enter lotteries on your behalf.

How it works

  • If we lose the lottery, we'll refund all costs minus a 500 yen fee.

  • If we win, the order proceeds as normal, like a standard purchase.

  • Please refrain from submitting duplicate entries for the same lottery, as we can't process them.

Japanese payment/address requirements

Some lotteries require a Japanese payment method or a delivery address in Japan. This isn't an issue for us; we can use Japan-based payment methods and address to place and complete these purchases on your behalf.

A few types of lotteries we can't always help with:

  • Ticket lotteries (concerts, events, etc.): These often require payment at a convenience store instead of by card. Please see this article for how it works: Can Japan Rabbit make a convenience store payment for my concert tickets or reservation?

  • Lotteries with ID checks: Some lottery providers let us pay on your behalf with basic details (reservation number, phone number, etc.). Others require an ID check at payment, which we can't complete for you.

  • In-person lotteries: If the lottery requires the winner to pick up or pay for the item in person at a venue or store, we can't assist, as we can't attend in person on your behalf.
