What are Purchase Limits?

Edited

Purchase limits are set quantities that sellers allow a customer to buy from them. They are often put in place to prevent customers from buying too many of an item in bulk.

How Limits Work at Japan Rabbit

Because we act as a proxy service, the purchasing limit is placed on our account rather than your individual account. For example, if a listing says there is a limit of 3 purchases of an item per account, you may not be able to purchase all 3 through us.

In some cases, we may be unable to purchase the item for you at all if our other customers have already reached the limit. If, when you're placing an order, you see a message saying something like "the purchase limit for this item has been reached," it means the limit in our account has been reached, even if you personally have not purchased it yet, since we use our shared company account to place orders.

How to Improve Your Chances

To increase your chances of getting an item with a purchase limit, we recommend using Priority Purchasing at checkout.
